PROCESSES & COMPLIANCE
Every project we undertake is designed, manufactured and installed with safety, compliance and long-term durability in mind. From the initial site measure through to final installation, we take care to ensure each system is suitable for the project requirements and installed in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards.

COMPLIANCE & SAFETY
Our systems are designed and installed in accordance with the applicable Australian Standards and National Construction Code requirements, including:
NCC (National Construction Code)
AS 1288 – Glass in Buildings
AS/NZS 1170 – Structural Design Actions
AS 1926.1 – Swimming Pool Safety
Other project-specific standards where required.

STRUCTURAL FIXINGS
The performance and safety of any balustrade or pool fence relies heavily on the structure it is fixed to.
Prior to installation we assess:
Timber and steel substrate suitability.
Adequate blocking and fixing provisions.
Concrete edge distances and fixing requirements.
Structural integrity of existing surfaces.
Where additional structural work is required, recommendations will be provided prior to installation.
WATERPROOFING & FLASHINGS
Where balustrades, pool fencing or handrails are required to be fixed through waterproofed surfaces or roof flashings, we take additional precautions to minimise disturbance to existing membranes and waterproofing systems.
This includes:
Careful planning of fixing locations.
Minimising penetrations wherever possible.
Sealing all penetrations using appropriate products and methods.
Liaising with builders and waterproofing contractors where required.
